Netanyah vows revenge after Iran attacks a hospital in Israel

A hospital in southern Israel has suffered direct shots by an Iranian missile Thursday, as officials reported on a <x0-> large damage” in this hospital.

Soroka Health Center is the main hospital in southern Israel. A spokesman for this hospital said the building has suffered “large damage” in some areas. Authorities at this health centre have asked citizens not to seek medical treatment in this institution.

Another rocket hit a high building and several residential buildings in Tel Aviv. At least 40 people were injured in these attacks, Israel Rescue Service said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack on the hospital and vowed to retaliate.

The “Tirrans in Tehran will pay high price”, he said.

Later Thursday, Iran said that the main target of the missile attacks, where the hospital was hit, was an Israeli military base and an intelligence base, not a health facility.

The main “Caku was the Israeli Army Command and intelligence base [Israel Army C4I], the military intelligence camp, located near the Soroka” hospital, state news agency Irna said.

According to this agency, the direct attacks were on military buildings and that the hospital was hit by “explosive wave”.

Even the Islamic Revolutionary Guard said Israel's commanding centres and intelligence, located near the hospital, were hit.

The hit hospital has over 1,000 beds and offers service to nearly 1 million residents in southern Israel, according to the hospital website.

The attack came after Israel hit the heavy water reactor [the heavywater-use nuclear reactor].

The Israeli military said the attack on the Arak building has been carried out with fighter aircraft.

“Sulmi targeted the components needed for the production of plutonium in order to prevent the reactor from being used for nuclear weapons development”, the military said.

According to Iranian state television, “has no risk of radiation”. A television reporter, during a direct link from the nearby town of Hondab, said the object has been evacuated and there is no damage in civilian areas around the reactor.

Thursday morning, Israel warned that it would hit this building and urged residents to leave the area. The Israeli Army said that during Thursday's air strikes it has targeted Tehran and several other areas of Iran, without providing detailed details. He later said Iran has launched a new wave of missile attacks on Israel and urged people to take refuge.

The seventh day of attacks between Israel and Iran comes a day after Iran's Supreme Leader rejected the United States' calls to turn himself in and warned that any military involvement of Americans would cause “repairable damage to them”. Israel has also lifted some restrictions on people, suggesting the threat from Iran's missiles has decreased.

Through the air campaign, Israel has so far hit buildings to enrich Iran's uranium in Natanz, facilities for producing centrifuges around Tehran and the nuclear power plant in Isfahan. He also killed Iranian generals and nuclear scientists.

Iran has said that so far, as a result of Israeli attacks, 224 people have been killed, already Israel has reported 24 deaths.

By contrast, the Arak reactor, which was the target of the Israeli attacks, lies 250 miles [250 km] southwest of Tehran.

Heavy water helps cool nuclear reactors, but it also produces plutonium by - product, which can potentially be used to create nuclear weapons. This would offer Iran another route to a nuclear bomb, except through uranium enrichment, if the country wants to produce such weapons.

On June 13th, Israel launched an air campaign hitting military and nuclear centres within Iran, saying it aims to defeat its enemy's possession of nuclear weapons.
