“Express regret over the occasion. Despite the judicial stand, the pain experienced by the deceased family is undeniable and deserves full respect. According to Article 31 of the Kosovo Constitution and Article 6 of the Convention on Human Rights, every person charged with a criminal offence has the right to be considered innocent until its guilt is proven beyond any valid and reasonable suspicion. The prosecution has not presented convincing, direct, or sufficient evidence to connect our client to the criminal offense of the serious murder. Given the indictment under general circumstances, assumptions or unilateral interpretations of the situation, they do not lay the foundation for criminal punishment”, she said, Nacional reported, broadcasts Periscope.
There is no evidence the defendant committed or ordered criminal work. There is no logical connection between the defendants and the criminal acts that took place. The prosecution's arguments do not exceed the level of suspicion, while any suspicion should be taken in favour of the defendant. One of the basic elements of serious murder is the obvious motive. The prosecution has presented no evidence or argument, for the motive the defendant may have pushed towards such an act, she said.
