Arben Mustafa of the Democratic Party of Kosovo has reacted sharply after a post by incumbent Finance Minister Iron Murati, where the latter cited the increase in private sector wages in 2024 for 83 euros more than the previous year.
Mustafa said that Murati's reaction is also manipulative and hypocritical.
“Manipulative, because it talks about salaries without considering inflation. The purchasing power of a private sector salary today is no higher than it was in 2019, even marking a decline.
Hypocrite, because this very government has left nothing to fight the private sector, ultimately leading to bankruptcy because of the electricity depletion”, Mustafa wrote.

The former government minister, who will be remembered for the destruction of Kosovo's private sector, Iron Murati, has spoken of wage increases in this sector, even ridiculously claiming credit.
His reaction is both manipulative and hypocritical.
Manipulative, because it talks about salaries without considering inflation. The purchasing power of a private sector salary today is no higher than it was in 2019, even marking a decline.
Hypocrite, because this very government has left nothing to help combat the private sector, ultimately leading to bankruptcy because of electricity being extended.
