His disappearance was considered a classified murder case after his car was found with traces of blood in Düsseldorf. However, authorities have discovered that he planned his own disappearance because of large debts and fears for his and his family's safety.
As part of the plan, Boris was deliberately hurt to create a false crime scene, leading investigators on a wrong track for more than three decades.
