MPs did not vote this time again for the establishment of the secret vote commission, which is the condition for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament. This is the 39th consecutive failure since holding parliamentary elections.
According to the official results of the vote, only 54 MPs voted for the establishment of this commission, a number that is not enough to move the process forward.
The Vetevendosje movement, as the winning election party, has not yet managed to secure the parliamentary majority to elect Albulen Haxhiu as the chief parliament. Even the proposal for the secret commission has been consistently rejected by opposition parties in the past legislature.
The next session for the House Construction is scheduled to be held Tuesday, beginning at 11:00./Periscopi/
