The operation, prepared for years, involved three main stages: a Mossad commando team infiltrated Iranian territory to deploy weapons to air defence systems, offensive technologies were placed in civilian vehicles in various cities, and a secret base with armed fears within Iran to hit land-land missiles was used.
Among the victims are Revolutionary Guard commander José Salamis, and six nuclear scientists, as confirmed by Iranian state media. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the attack as a major success of intelligence and military co-ordination, with the aim of neutralising Iran's nuclear and missile capacities, A2 reports CNN, broadcast Periscope.
Meanwhile, the US distanced itself from the attack, warning Iran against attacks on American bases. Iran has threatened revenge and has issued more than 100 fears towards Israel, who are trying to be stopped by Israeli forces.
