Migrant housing, a small step for Kosovo- USA?

The incumbent Kosovo government has approved the decision to accept and house up to 50 citizens from third countries, within a request made by the United States. The news revealed the executive after an electronic meeting held on June 11th. Prime Minister Albin Kurti, [...]
The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said the provisional position of these persons would be managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and they would respect legislation in effect throughout the time of stay in Kosovo.
This decision was welcomed by the American authorities. The US State Department and Embassy in Pristina have thanked Kosovo for partnership and readiness on border security issues.
Ambassador Anu Prattipati named Kosovo the first country in Europe to accept citizens expelled from the US, stressing that the move coincides with President Trump's administration priorities.
“Thank our partner, Kosovo first country in Europe to announce the admission of citizens of third countries expelled from the United States. The American border security is a key priority of the Trump administration, and I deeply appreciate both Government and the people of Kosovo for this” partnership, Prattipati said.
Meanwhile, connoisseurs of political issues, including former American Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill, have said this is a symbolic step that should be accompanied by a broader approach to improving relations with Washington.
Kosovo, represented by Albin Kurti, has zero communication, and leaves partnership relations with the US. Kurti has failed to build a strategic partnership, where political, economic and security interests co-ordinate and co-ordinate with Kosovo's only global ally. This government action, Kurti, and no one to come, will not change the completely cool report that Kosovo has built with the United States in these 5 years”, Hill said./Periscopi/
