“Foundation Court in Pristina, Special Department has decided on the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, on the appointment of detention in the criminal case against defendants A.R., suspected of criminal activity participation or organisation of the criminal group organised by Article 277 paragraph 1 KPRK, regarding criminal work Blair, possession, distribution and unauthorised selling of narcotics, psychotropo and analogue by us 267 paragraphs 2 related to paragraph 1 KPR and Slar from the money related to 312 KPR, the 56P related to the 1st C.P.C.C.C.E., the 1xP.E.E.
The trial of the preliminary procedure has approved the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo of 18.06.2025 for the appointment of the detention measure to indictees A.R., so that the same has been assigned the length of 1 (one) months”, it was further said.
After holding the hearing, the court appreciates that the appointment of the detention measure to this criminal case is adequate because the same suspect is of serious criminal acts, if the defendant is released, can avoid criminal procedure and be elusive to justice organs, the same could be eliminated, concealed, falsified the evidence of the criminal act, or prevent the normal course of criminal procedure, as well as influence other persons who may eventually be implicated in these actions.
The A.R. is suspected of attempting to reverse properties for which there is a suspicion that are rich benefits earned by criminal acts with the aim of avoiding future seizure procedure”, the statement said.
