The first incumbent deputy prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, had a bilatheral meeting in Brussels with the European Union's special representative for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen.
In the media proposal after the meeting, Bislimi indicated that the new approach the EU intends to undertake in the next stages of dialogue, both at the level of chief negotiators and at high-level meetings led by representative Kaya Kallas.
Bislimi underlined some important topics that, according to him, require quick solutions or answers from Brussels.
He cited failure to meet obligations from Serbia under integrated border management, including the construction of three advance border checkpoints and the lack of response to Kosovo's proposal for opening seasonal points in Dobrosin, Muhovc and Brernica.
Otherwise, EU spokesman Anouar El Anoun, during a news conference Monday, said the meeting has been called to the level of chief negotiators, while representatives from Serbia are expected to arrive on Tuesday.. /Periscopi/
