US President Donald Trump has warned a return to the Kosovo-Serbia issue. Trump has declared that during his first term, he has managed to prevent a possible conflict between the two countries, which he believed was close to an explosion, writes Periscope.
“During my first term, Serbia and Kosovo were facing strongly, as they have for decades, and this long conflict was about to explode at LUFU”, he said.
Political analyst Halil Matoshi in a proposal for Periscope has said Trump will close the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue issue, turning Kosovo's de facto recognition from Serbia to the table.
President Donald Trump, I believe, will close the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue issue, re-entering Kosovo's de facto recognition table from Serbia. We'll have one. The combination of elements from Washington's vows, plus association from the Franco-German” Plan, Matoshi said about Periscope.
Matoshi further added that the lack of institutions from the February 9th elections is complicated towards the Kosovo state.
The lack of legitimate institutions stemming from the February nineth elections is a tendency to avoid association under the agreements reached, so it is a conspiracy against the Kosovo state and one day those responsible will be punished.”, Matoshi said./Albina Zariqi - PERISCOP/
