A wax figure by French President Emmanuel Macron was stolen from a museum in Paris by environmental activists.
“Grenpeace” went into the Grevin Museum presenting itself as tourists before changing clothes, covering the statue with a blanket, and extracting it from an emergency exit, said a police source for the French news agency AFP.
The wax figure resurfaced later outside the Russian Embassy, where activists denounced the Macroni's attitude towards French companies that continue to do business with Russia that war with Ukraine.
Macron has been one of Kiev's most vocal supporters and has been a key figure in European efforts to secure a ceasefire. /Periscopi/
