Lushaku-Sadriu: The electorate asks us not to coalition with LVV

Democratic League of Kosovo MP, who is also chairman of the LDK Women's Forum, Jehona Lusshak-Sadriu in RTK Prime, said the first party is failing to secure the parliamentary majority. She said the position, the LDK not to vote the speaker of parliament, is due to many causes. He said the electorate [...]
The stance, the LDK not to vote the speaker of parliament, has many causes. It has it against Vetevendosje as a political party, it is consistent with what it represented during the campaign, and we expect the party to secure the majority. It's not the LDK saying that, but the Constitution gives the right to see within parliament to propose the Speaker of the Parliament. For this we expect the first to take advantage of the possibility of reaching a political agreement that is sound for the country, which also provides a product that can be a political agreement that crowns even with the executive”, she said.
Lushaku said Vetevendosje is not willing to hand over executive power. “We are seeing as they have seized executive positions, while 17 of them have taken the oath as deputies and are also exercising the executive role”, she added.
Asked whether LDK is pushing a possible coalition between the LVV and PDK, Lusshak said that as a party, they do not presuppose who should be dealt with. We show our positions as a party. We have those deputies we have and all of us are unique and very comfortable in what we represent. We've represented a programme, a platform with which we've competed in elections and criticised Vetevendosje for not only weak and incompetent governance, but now we're seeing it harmful”.
Lushaku said we don't want in this phase to play a coalition even because of the discours that the LVV has used, especially towards the LDK.
The political party must have the weight of public speech, and maintain the political atmosphere by not causing polarization among citizens. Rightly, our electorate also asks us not to make this coalition, and we will not do this”, she said.
The LDK MP said the approach should be ideological and programming.
“Vetevendosje is the left party, extremely sometimes. In any coalition that has had history as well as in other countries since then non-principle and non-program coalitions, fail or one of the parties pays the bill”, Lusshak-Sadriu said at RTK Prime/ Periscope.
