The Kerin has said the treatment being handled by the accused is not appropriate.
“
All of the accused in Thaci case and others have filed several complaints to the ombudsman, but unfortunately they have encountered deaf ears, have not been dealt with with with the reasoning that the ombudsman cannot intervene in judicial procedures. However, with those complaints it is not required that the ombudsman intervene in judicial procedures, but has been sought by the ombudsman over violations of human rights guaranteed with the Constitutions and the European Convention on Human Rights. Unfortunately, the ombudsman has not been declared regarding these complaints that have been brought to the accused, and of course the accused have rightly decided not to belong to the ombudsman as a sign of indignation for failing to get answers to the complaints filed on their part,” has he said in Dukagjin, broadcast. Periscope.
He has also spoken about representing Fadil Fazliu, who is being held near these chambers in The Hague and is involved in the second indictment against President Thaci and others.
On the other hand, he said that the registry office had refused to be Fazliu's co-protector with the reason that Qerkey has participated in a raid on a co-ordinated one.
Krkin has said that the refusal was made on the basis of a misinterpretation, as according to him its key presents no conflict of interest in the judicial process in the quality of defenders on Fadil Fazliu's side.
According to Krkin, the defendant's basic right of choice is being violated.
