“Kryeziu: President has legitimacy to solve the stalemate in the Assembly

Former Constitutional Court Judge Kadri Kryeziu, at RTV Dukaagjini, has spoken about the stalemate in the Kosovo Assembly, where even for the 30th time it was failed to be introduced.

He has said he has solutions to this situation, but for that there should be wills of the parties, political subjects, respectively.

“The only factor that has full legitimacy and legitimacy is the president of Kosovo, which has constitutional duty as a factor of nation unity to make efforts to build institutions... These cases that are happening are unprecedented cases of early peace and for the first time, he said.

He has said the solution lies with the Constitutional Court Act of August 26, 2014, at its 124 point, respectively.

Kryeziu has said that there is no need to establish a commission or veto how to pass the vote in secret or openly.

“These are two constitutional principles and neither is the Constitution violated, but the principle of the secret vote is more democratic, given that the mandate of our deputies is free mandate, which means they decide themselves and their opinion is free and sovereign”, he has said.

According to Kryeziu, the head of the session could decide.
