Charged with work at the US Embassy in Kosovo, Annu Prattipati, has thanked Kosovo for becoming the first European state to have accepted US expelled immigrants.
“Thank our partner, Kosovo, the first state in Europe to announce the admission of citizens of third countries expelled from the United States. The American border security is a key priority of Trump Administration and I appreciate both Government and the people of Kosovo for their” partnership, Prattipati said in a post published by the American Embassy account on social networks.
Days ago, the Government of Kosovo approved the decision to accept 50 migrants, reportedly facilitating their return to their homeland.
Similarly, the US State Department has confirmed that Balkan region countries have been contacted within the framework of a broader American strategy for the expulsion of foreign citizens without regulated status.
And, according to a report from “Bloomberg”, it's about immigrants, mainly from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who have been attracted to temporary legal status in the United States./Periscope
