In response to the United States' request for the admission and temporary transfer of citizens of third countries, the willingness expressed for co-operation with our partner and ally, today we have translated him into Government's Constitution, our 262nd meeting.
Under that decision, our country will, within a year, accept and house up to 50 individuals with the goal of facilitating their safe return to the land of origin. The selection of these persons will be made by a proposed list, as long as they meet the specific criteria regarding rule of law and public order. During their stay in Kosovo, these persons will act in accordance with legislation in force and enjoy defined rights, but according to our legislation in force.
The United States of America remains our staunch ally, and the Republic of Kosovo will always be their reliable partner. We are always grateful for their continued assistance and cooperation, and we highly appreciate support in defence and development, especially in our journey towards Euro-Atlantic integration./Periscopi/
