Koci speaks from Belgrade: Serbian BIA after criminal charges against former police officer Spahiu

Lawyer Aryan Koci, currently located in Serbia, has spoken about the detention of former Kosovo police officer Arbnor Spahiu, and the charges that have been brought against him. In a direct link Tuesday to the “Special Endition” in Klan Kosova, Koci said that criminal denouncing against Spahiu was done by the Serbian Intelligence Agency (BIA) [...]

In a direct link Tuesday to the “Special Endiance” in Klan Kosova, Koci said that criminal rowing against Spahiu was done by the Serbian Intelligence Agency (BIA) and, according to him, the whole case is unfounded.

“I have received the complete documentation of the prosecution's claims, that is, criminal defamation has made Serbian BIA, the security body and is completely unsubstantiated”, he said.

He added that he finds that his client was a sniper in his unit, but that, according to him, is false.

The first error is that here my client is represented as a sniper in his unit, he was never a sniper, and his unit has no sniper at all. Above all, at the time of the attack on Banjska, he was no member of police”, Koci stressed.

According to the lawyer, these inaccuracies in criminal speculation clearly indicate that we are dealing with a politically influenced case.

“I have identified some mistakes in that criminal speculation, and all of this convinced me that this is political persecution and has nothing to do with justice”, he said.

He stressed further that the high institutions of Kosovo must react.

For this reason I believe that now is the time for both the prime minister and the president to react, it is not enough that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs alone engages in this matter”, Koci added. /Periscope/
