KMDLNj reacts to recent arrests of Kosovars from Serbia

Recently, Serbia has been frequenting the arrest of Kosovo citizens on the grounds that it was part of the KLA. Also, Albanians who are placed on the Interpol list are being arrested in northern Macedonia, at Serbia's request. Then the black olive is being removed to prevent their extradition to Serbia. So [...]
So said the Council for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms ( KMDLNj.
This council cited the latest case of Arbnor Spahiu, a former Kosovo Police member who was arrested three days ago in Serbia, while the relevant court has appointed the move of the 30-day detention.
From a spring unkempt. KMDLNj says he was questioned for the case in Zvecan Banjska when he had a paramilitary attack on the Kosovo Police.
The Council for Human Rights again urged Kosovo citizens to avoid passing through Serbia's territory to other countries.
Serbian “authorities have made selected arrests, adapting it to the dynamics of Serb arrests in Kosovo. These arrests are already turning into a political ping pong where at least efforts are made to ensure justice for victims and responsibilities for those who are part of the crime chain”, KMDLNj said.
This council says that due to the lack of co-operation between Kosovo and Serbia in the field of justice, “does not have much chance to ensure that against those arrested in Serbia, Kosovo citizens, human rights of persons deprived of freedom are respected, according to international standards”.
KMDLNj says it has proposed that an agreement be made based on good will and allowed unhindered monitoring of persons deprived of freedom in Kosovo and Serbia.
The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms said it expects Arbnor Spahiu will be treated in accordance with the rights they are entitled to, that there will be allowed visits, protection and protection for which he himself is defined and that his case will not be politicised.
After those arrested in Serbia, Kosovo citizens have been released, KMDLNj has provided evidence that police treatment and while maintaining it has been correct”.
