KFOR Commander Enrico Barpini has led today a handover ceremony of Chief of Staff at KFOR headquarters at Camp Film City, Pristina, where US Army Colonel Philip Demontigny has handed over his responsibilities to Maximian Clark.
Bardonin expressed his deep gratitude to Colonel Demontigny for the professionalism and leadership shown throughout his mandate in a fundamental role.
Commander Bardonini completed his speech by welcoming Clark and success in his new role in KFOR, the longest-lived mission NATO.
KFOR continues to implement its 1999 UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and sustainable environment for all citizens and communities in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU Law Rule Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in fulfillment of their respective roles as security institutions.
