The deadline has been extended for a day, as it points out that again the reason for this has been great interest and the inability to fulfill all contracts within the set term.
Because of the extraordinary interest in businesses, as well as the inability to realise all contracts within the pre-term, we announce that the deadline for linking the contracts for Last Options (FMF), based on the ZERE decision, has been extended until tomorrow, on the 1206.202525x2>.
If you are among the consumers affected by this decision and you have not yet entered your contract, we invite you to act as soon as you can, KEK said in today's announcement.
This is the third time KEK extended the deadline for signing contracts with businesses that emerged in the open electricity market.
In case of energy market liberalisation, the decision, which went into effect on June 1st of this year, many businesses complained that they are accepting very expensive bids for electricity supply.
This prompted KEK to be defined as the Last Options Supplier (FMF).
According to earlier announcement, KEK said it is defined as the FMF for a transitional period until July 30th 2025, for all consumers who have not yet chosen suppliers on the free market.
