Albania's police have reported that they have detained an Israeli citizen at the “Rinas” airport while attempting to enter Albania with 194 thousand undeclared euros.
The amount of money has been seized, while the 45-year-old has been prosecuted.
“As a result of detailed checks at the country's inflows, with the objective of preventing and completing lawlessness at the border, the Youth Border Police services, in co-operation with customs services, have hit another case of default at the border crossing point, of significant amounts of money. For this occasion, material was referred to at the Prosecutor's Office, where free - condition proceedings for citizen V began. Y., 45, with Israeli citizenship, which during the second line check was found 194,000 euros aimed at leaving the Republic of Albania without declaring it a constitutional law. The procedure materials referred to the Tirana Prosecution for further actions”, State Police have announced.
