A total of 60 people have been killed after an Israeli attack on a residential building in Tehran, according to an Iranian state media reporter.
By “CNN”Iranian remote control showed live images of employees removing ruins from the site of a 14-story building at the Shahrak-e Shahid Chamran residence complex in Tehran.
According to one journalist at the scene, 20 children were killed in the residential building, including babies who were only six months old. Ten troops are said to still be in ruins.
Iran's envoy to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Irrani, said on Friday that at least 78 people were killed in Israeli attacks. It was not immediately clear whether the 60 victims of the residence were involved in this number.
