After 21 months of war, the UN has warned that the entire population of territory is in danger of hunger.
At around 3:02 a.m., Israeli forces “forced ship to international waters as it approached Gaza, Freedom Flotilla Coalition said in a statement.
“If you see this video, we are caught and kidnapped in international waters”, Thundberg said in a pre-registered video separated from the coalition.

Palestinian group Hamas condemned the deviation, saying in a statement that the ship was being taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod.
The Israeli government had pledged to prevent the unauthorized “ship” from violating Gaza's naval blockade, urging it to return.
On Sunday, Defence Minister Israel Katz said the blockade, in effect since years before the Israeli-Haams war, was necessary to prevent Palestinian militants from importing weapons.
After diverting the ship, Israel's foreign ministry posted a photo of activists dressed in orange life jackets offered water and sandwiches.
