Iraq says the United States' air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities pose a major threat to Middle Eastern stability, CNN writes.
“This military escalation poses a serious threat to peace and security in the Middle East and brings with it serious risks for regional stability”, Iraqi government spokesman Basim Alawadi said through an official communiqué.
He warned that continuing attacks could lead to a dangerous escalation of <x0, with consequences that could exceed the borders of any single state, putting the safety of the entire region at risk even wider”.
Iraq called for an immediate deceleration of the situation and underlined the need for the international community to remember that <x0-wars left behind only destruction”, the statement concludes.. /Periscopi/
