Moshen Rezae, a member of the Council for Adaptability and senior military officer at the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, called on Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and other countries to join Iran in creating this army, at a time when tensions and attacks continue in the troubled Middle East region.
“We want to form an Islamic army with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and several other countries. Currently, some believe that we need to act with more energy, but the important point is that war should be managed and, fortunately, this war is now managed”, He told Iranian media on Sunday.
IRC military officer declared that “All are managing this battle with intelligence and this management should ultimately lead to the decisive victory of the Iranian nation”.
“Pakistan has assured us that if Israel uses a nuclear bomb against Iran, they will attack Israel with a nuclear bomb”, He added.
On June 14th, speaking at the National Assembly, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif called on Muslim nations to launch a united initiative against Israel.
“Israel has targeted Iran, Yemen and Palestine. If Muslim nations do not unite now, each will face the same fate”, Asif confirmed.
He called on Muslim countries that have diplomatic relations with Israel to cut off these ties immediately and urged the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) to meet and develop a common strategy in response.
On Friday, Israel carried out a series of air strikes co-ordinated at numerous locations throughout Iran, targeting military and nuclear facilities. In response, Tehran launched revenge attacks, triggering a wave of ongoing attacks and counterattacks between the two sides.
Israeli officials reported at least 13 victims and more than 370 injured in attacks by Iranian missiles. On the other hand, Iran's Health Ministry said at least 128 people have been killed and nearly 900 injured registered since Israeli attacks began.
