IPK recommends suspension of a lieutenant colonel and a police captain in Pec

IPK investigators have immediately responded to the case and undertaken preliminary investigative actions in consultation with the State Prosecutor. Following the company and preliminary actions, the two police officials are suspected of criminal activity “the use of official position or authority.
The initial incident reportedly occurred in 28.05.2025 when some police officials in Pec were reportedly reported a traffic accident on the “road. Rescue Boyku” and during the survey of the site have accompanied a suspect to the police station who was not involved at all in the accident but who prevented police officials from carrying out their duties.
The lieutenant colonel and police captain have allegedly intervened in this case (companying the suspect at the station) by failing to convey the case for investigation, and the prosecution was not reported in case of -- contrary to standard police action procedures in such cases, pointing to the suspect as a ticket to countering public order and calm.
IPK investigators in the interest of the investigation have recommended the suspension of two police officials (necolonel and police captain) while it is expected that in co-ordination with the Founding Prosecutor in Pec, further investigative actions are undertaken towards the full enlightenment of all the circumstances related to the case.
