About 260 security workers at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo (QKUK) have remained without work contracts, which has caused the QKUK's facilities to be left without physical security for several days.
To this day in Klan Kosova spoke with Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi, who said workers are obliged to leave because they do not have work contracts and are not legally protected.
The union's decision has been for these workers to leave their jobs because there is no contract and there can't be continued. Workers have often been working for weeks and not paid at all. Therefore, we have decided that everyone will go home until there is a new contract, either from the new operator or the old one, it doesn't matter”, Azemi said. /Periscope/
