In another controversial decision, President Trump has announced he will limit US entry for foreign citizens aiming to attend Harvard University studies or participate in exchange programmes organised by the institution. Restriction will have an initial six-month deadline, with a potential extension.
According to the White House statement, these measures aim to strengthen control over the immigration system and address, according to the administration, possible risks to national security. The State Department is also instructed to review visa status for foreign students currently attending US studies.
