LDK MP Avdullah Hoti has said political crises in a democracy could occur, but it is the irresponsibly of political forces if they deepen and last, creating costs for every citizen and business.
In a Facebook post, he has confirmed that after 27 failures to elect the Speaker of the Parliament, it is clear that the first party has failed to form the parliamentary majority.
“Stringly, it must accept this and seek consultations with other parties on constitutional modalisations of exit from the political crisis”, Hoti has said.
The same has stated that for the LDK's proposal for the sweeping government there should be consensus from all political parties.
“The LDK, in the absence of creating a parliamentary majority and making it clear that, due to the election result, will remain in the opposition without becoming part of any kind of parliamentary majority, has proposed a sweeping government, with limited mandate and time. This proposal requires consensus from all political forces, a consensus that clearly does not exist”.
“As a result, it is the obligation of political forces to sit down as soon as possible and agree to a new date of elections. The country cannot be left without institutions. If political forces fail to agree to form the parliamentary majority, then the word must again be sovereign”, Hoti said. /Periscopi
