Democratic Party of Kosovo prime minister Bedri Hamza has said that today the PDK is the compass leading Kosovo towards Europe, towards sustainable development and joining our society.
Hamza at the party's 11th general Convention in a row said the PDK is willing to lead Kosovo towards a safer and better future.
Do you know why we got the best result in the February 9th election? Because we invented society when others tried to sue it. We brought citizens together about our program. Instead of empty rhetoric, we offered programmes, solutions, wages and better welfare for citizens, and economic transformation for our state. We put aside minor differences to unite about our values and general interest. We are still doing this at this convention with the continuation of confidence for Chairman Memli Krasniqi and for the new party structures. We should do this on October 12th in every municipality in Kosovo, and whenever it is the interest of our citizens and our state”, he stressed.
Hamza addressing the attendees, said we are the heirs of those who never bowed, Hashim Thaci and Kadri Wessel.
“The PDK, more than ever, is today called to be their voice because they cannot speak freely. We have been called upon to defend the legacy of our liberation war. So as long as they are among us again, in the name of President Thaci and President Wessel, in the name of all those who gave everything for this country, let us be stronger, more united, and more proud than ever. Because, you all know, the Democratic Party of Kosovo was not born in the office and was not formed even in the calm of parliamentary halls. Born in confrontation. In sacrifice. In the spirit of resistance. The PDK has always been there when Kosovo has needed strength, courage, vision and work. Not for personal glory, but to pave the way for our children not to look for the future abroad anymore, but to be able to build their lives in Kosovo”, he added. /Periscope/
