After media reports that Kosovo's incumbent Government has expressed itself open to being part of this process, the US Embassy in Pristina has confirmed to Klan Kosova that it recognises this co-operation as part of a key priority of Trump Administration, notes Periscope.
“We are grateful to our partner, Kosovo, for accepting the citizens of third countries expelled from the United States and facilitating their safe return to countries of origin. We welcome co-operation to this key priority of the Trump Administration,”, the embassy statement said.
Furthermore, it notes that implementation of the Trump Administration immigration policies remains one of the main priorities of the State Department.
The continued engagement with foreign governments is essential to prevent illegal and mass migration as well as to secure our borders. US partners and regional leaders are working closely with us to end the crisis of illegal and mass migration. As Secretary Rubio has stated, we remain committed to our commitment to prevent illegal migration and to strengthen American border security,” completes the American Embassy's response in Pristina.
