According to him, it is better for the Parliament to be constitutionalised in late June than the country to go to new elections that would delay everything until December.
I don't rule out that next week, or for two weeks it can be solved. Is it better to have it in mid-June or at the end of June again a constitution of the Parliament, or go to the elections, which could not be before the end of August or the beginning of September and not have the constitution under way again in December”, Konjufca said at ATV, broadcasting Periscopi.
He said the current crisis should be seen as opportunities for improving the constitutional system and strengthening democracy.
Maybe this is also a crisis, which we're experiencing by pushing us to figure out what the next solutions would then be to avoid the worst possible scenario or blockage of such kind. After all, this is part of the statehood... and I don't think it's insignificant”, Conjufca said.
