Wadephul, who is standing on a visit to the Middle East, says he is trying to help de-progress the conflict between Israel and Iran, stressing that Tehran had earlier failed to seize the opportunity to enter constructive talks.
“I hope that's still possible,” said to the German public broadcaster ARD.
“Germania, along with France and Britain, are available. We are offering Iran immediate talks on the nuclear programme. I hope this offer is accepted. ”
“This is also an essential prerequisite for achieving the calming of this conflict, for Iran not to pose a threat to the region, the state of Israel or to Europe. ”/Periscopi/
