Johann Wadefhul said he confirmed this to US Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio.
The statements were very clear: Rubio said the US will not intervene in war and will not attack, and since I highly appreciate my colleague, who re-exerted this as well in the statement, I believe the US position is still this”, the German minister said during a news conference in Berlin with his Jordanian counterpart.
But, if Iran attacks any American targets, then there will be “naturally counter-military reaction”.
