Economics Professor Safet Gerjaliu has warned of rising oil prices in Kosovo as a result of tensions in the Middle East, especially between Israel and Iran.
According to him, Kosovo is one of the most imported countries, so any global development directly affects the local economy.
The more we import, the more we import inflation. This will be reflected not only in oil prices, but in all daily products and services”, Gerjaliu told Tv1.
He stressed that rising prices will be felt especially by low-income citizens, as purchasing power in the country is limited and wages remain low in terms of the cost of living./Periscopi/
