During the event, outgoing Commander Colonel Bryan Reid officially transferred authority to his successor, Lieutenant Brian Snook.
Cole. Helzer commended Lieutenant Reid for his extraordinary leadership and dedication, and gave the best wishes to Lieutenant Cole. Snook as he assumes his new responsibilities.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time, and KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in the relevant roles as security reactors”, KFOR announced.
