Tahiri describes this declaration as a signal that Kosovo should read carefully, especially at a time when the world faces serious conflicts.
President Trump today clearly spoke of a quick agreement between Israel and Iran, while in the same post he also cited the Kosovo Agreement. At this time that wars are taking place in the world, Kosovo must be very cautious”, Tahiri wrote in a Facebook response.
He highlights three points that, according to him, should lead the Kosovo political class:
Freedom and independence are the biggest achievements of the Albanian nation, and any “agreement” should be in line with national interest.
Dignified and serious representation is essential for the country, away from close party or personal interests.
The transparent decision-making should be a rule, not the exception without arrogance and closed doors, as has happened in the past.
