“The explosion lost my balance of”, police officer Pec gives frightening details of the attack on Banjska

At the Pristina Foundation Court, police official Elez Peci has started testifying in the case of “Banjska”.

He related how the late African Bulnjak on September 23, 2023, had made the timetable for starting with patrols.

Peci later confessed that trucks had been placed on the Banjska village bridge to block the entrance.

On September 23rd, 2023, the late sergeant, Africa Bulnjak, has made the schedule, as usual we've started to patrol even though we've had limited movements, the reason is known to have been dangerous. By 2 p.m., we were on the ground in Zvecan municipality with Fahri Shala. At 2 we have returned to the station, at 2:30 with radio connections the command chamber was announced from the border unit, that two trucks were placed in the village of Banjska on the bridge and the entrance of the village was blocked. Banjska is with Zvecan. The late African Bulnjak called us police officers, gave us our duties, equipped us with anti-plumbs, helmets and other police equipment. I was in a vehicle with the late Sergeant Africa Bux1>

On the other hand, the police official Peci showed frightening details even of the moment of the explosion.

When we went to the bathroom near the trucks, I suspected and said we were spreading that we could be trapped. Then there's Saddam behind me, I told him to follow Izvor's route, I've relied on the truck, in those moments there's been a strong explosion, so strong that I've lost even my balance. After the explosion there were gun shots of different calibres immediately. We had 10 to 15. There were also heavy weapons at the monastery. I've been trying to protect myself and my colleagues by shooting at them, but we were very uneven both in number and in weapons”, Peci added. /Periscopi
