Trump's new threats of unilateral tariffs to countries that do not trade with the United States are shaking markets, including the currency market, with the dollar being taken by the American president's words, according to the ANSA.
Euro took advantage of this, rising in the early hours of the morning to $1,1532, its highest level since November 2021.
The combined currency then dropped slightly, reaching $1,1520, which marks an increase of 0.3 percent.
Euro-en exchange rate was completely different, falling by 0.2 percent to 165.69. /Periscope/
