EU: No response received from Serbia for Iber-Lepenc attack

The European Union has confirmed that it has so far received no response from Serbian authorities regarding Kosovo's demand for co-operation in investigating the terrorist attack taken place on November 29th, 2024 in the Iber-Lepenc water channel. The EU has said it has transmitted Serbia's authorities to the Special Prosecutor's request [...]
The EU has said it has passed on to Serbia's authorities the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's request to co-operate in investigating this attack, but so far I have received answers.
“The EU is closely following developments and is willing to facilitate co-operation between the two sides. The European Union's Special Representative for Kosovo in January mediated the broadcast of a mutual legal assistance request from the Kosovo Special Prosecutor to Serbia's authorities, over the attack on the Iber-Lepenc channel. So far, no answers have been received to this issue”, the EU spokesman for TIME reported.
Earlier, the Special Prosecutor has said Serbia is not showing will for co-operation, despite Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, had given public pledges that it would help investigations and co-operate with the Kosovo Police as well.
Officials in Kosovo view this approach of Serbia as disrespecting international commitments and lack of seriousness to whiteen the act that could potentially have caused serious security consequences.
For the November 29th 2024 attack, the US National Bureau of Investigation has been involved in the investigation. So far in custody, two suspects are being held, as, in addition to Jovan Vifjevic's Dragisa, the prosecutor has said there are other suspects./Periscopi/
