Albania has benefited over 64.5m euros, while northern Macedonia and Montenegro have participated in the fund since March and May of this year. Meanwhile, Serbia has been earmarked 51.7m euros in soft credit form, as well as another 59m euros in grants and loans through the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans.
Kosovo will benefit a total of about 882m euros by 2027 ʹ mostly per capita in the region, but the lack of a functional Assembly has been unable to ratify the international agreement, requiring two-thirds of MPs' votes. As a result, even the first payment of about 61m euros has not been made.
The growth plan includes about 30 reforms and 100 activities in key areas such as energy and digital transition, private sector development, rule of law and human capital. The aid will be split twice a year, but will depend on meeting the conditions and commitment of the parties to the dialogue for normalisation./Periscopi/
