Erdogan warns Israel: You're risking your existence...

In a recent speech, he stressed that the borderless support Israel receives from the West is promoting it to act without sensitivity to the geopolitical and historical reality of the region.

“Israel, which attacks Iran with the limitless support of the West, destroys Gaza and exerts pressure on every country in the region, is unaware of the consequences of its” actions, Erdogan said. He warned that Israel can understand its mistake only when it is too late, underlining that no state in this ancient geography is isolated from others because of deep historical and cultural ties.

The Turkish president added that any attack on Palestine or Iran is not only an issue affecting the local population, but has widespread influence throughout the region and causes medium- and long-term consequences for all societies. “The attacks on the Palestinian people and their territories are not merely a matter of several million people there. Similarly, the attack on Iranian lands is not only an issue affecting Iranian state”.

Following his speech, Erdogan warned that every step taken in the region without assessing historical and social realities brings new disasters. He remembered that “these disasters usually end with the disappearance of the” oppressors.

“Israel is jeopardising its existence and the future of its society with every oppressive act it commits, with every blood it shed, and with every crime against humanity that commits”, he stressed, giving a clear warning of the consequences that Israeli aggression may have to continue. /Periscope/
