Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan, has said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the largest “security threat to the Middle East, according to a post on social networks by the Turkish presidency.
“Netanyah has demonstrated once again that it is the biggest threat to security in the region”, the presidency in an X post told Erdogan of Qatar.
“Noting that it has maintained intense diplomatic contacts over the clashes caused by Israel's attacks on Iran, President Erdogan has said he will continue his efforts to end the spiral of violence”, the post said further.
“Stressing that Israeli attacks cannot be allowed to overshadow the humanitarian crisis and genocide in Gaza, President Erdogan warned against allowing incidents to include Syria”, the post has continued.
Since Israel's Gaza war began, Erdogan has been one of Israel's most harsh and vocal critics, regularly calling it a terrorist state and comparing Netanyah to Hitler./Periscopi/
