In a new tweet, he labels Rama, writing that 53,000 Albanian citizens live in the United Kingdom, of which 1,069 are in prisons.
Farage stresses that this means that 1 in 48 Albanians is imprisoned and promises to ask the Interior Secretary to organise the return of all these prisoners to Albania.
Finally he writes: “Thank you for your cooperation. ”
There are 53,000 Albanian citizens in the United Kingdom, and 1,099 of them are in our prisons. Actually, this is 1 in 48. I'm going to ask the Secretary of the Interior to arrange for all these prisoners to return. Thank you for your cooperation”, writes Nigel Farage.
We remember that Prime Minister Edi Rama had rejected earlier statements by British MP Nigel Farage, who had indicated that Albanians in Great Britain are key actors in crime, claiming that 1 in 50 Albanians on British territory is in prison.
Rama challenged the British MP for a real-digit match, stressing that Farage's claim is overworked. He pledged that, if it turns true that “1 in 50 Albanians” in Great Britain is imprisoned, then he will take all of them to Albania, followed Periscope.
The prime minister challenged Farage, saying that if his statements did not result in truth, he would welcome him to Albania.
And all I ask you for in return is a small, simple commitment: since next time, when someone slanders Albanians, be you first to say stop”, Rama added.
