The State Department has announced that it is allowing staff families in Israel, as well as some emergency workers, to leave if they want to.
According to bc, currently, the international airport near Tel Aviv is closed. This means that the only way to escape is to reach neighboring countries like Jordan.
Both embassies in Jerusalem and offices in Tel Aviv are still open to emergency consular services. /Periscope/
