The US Embassy following the Constitutional decision: The responsibility of leaders to convert the Parliament and create a stable government with which we will work.

From the US Embassy, they point out that it is now the responsibility of political party leaders to finalise the constitution and form a new stable government in accordance with the Constitution.

“It is the responsibility of political leaders to constitute the Parliament and create a stable government in line with the Constitution”, a US Embassy spokesman in Pristina has told Express.

This spokesman has added that the US has long supported Kosovo's democratic development and is eager to work with the new government to advance regional stability, security and prosperity.

The Constitutional Court of Kosovo on Thursday has issued a decision forcing political parties to respect the spirit of the Constitution to give the country the new institutions for a 30-day term.

The Constitution has specified that the right given to the largest party to exit the election to propose the candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament should not be used to block the processes. It has also called on parties to participate in the vote.

Political parties have reacted to the decision, and are expected to see how today's constitutional session will go, first after the Constitutional decision.. /Periscopi/
