The alleged drug boss, caught in the major police action Tuesday, Shemsie Bahtiri, his ties to politics allegedly strengthened them in Albania as well.
Bahtiri turned out to be close to Vetevendosje, especially with incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti and incumbent Minister of Internal Affairs Jelal Svecla.
But his proximity is beyond bounds. It has also been photographed with Vetevendosje leaders in Albania, Boykan Abazi and Arber Zaim, the two leaders of the Vetevendosje Movement in Albania.
In photos that Paparac has provided, Shemsi Bahtiri is seen with both Vetevendosje activists in Albania. The pictures were fired at the time of the pandemic because in both, Bahtiri is screened in his face.
Boykan Abazi served as Secretary of Foreign Relations, while Kosovo authorities had expelled him in 2016, arguing that he had entered Kosovo's territory illegally.
In Albania's 2021 parliamentary elections, Abazi failed greatly in the MP race. He ran as an independent in Tirana's district, but with support from Vetevendosje, which was not enough because he secured only two thousand and 993 votes.
Abaz's adventure with Vetevendosje ended in 2022 when he resigned from leading this party, which claimed to have influence in Albania as well.
Meanwhile, Arber Zami is Kurti's unregulated adviser and member of the Vetevendosje Movement. He currently lives in France, but since 2009 he was VV activist.

For years, Bahtiri was an inseparable part of the Vetevendosje Movement. He was part of the Pristina branch of this party.
The hero boss had participated in many activities of this party. Even in the then LV action against Chief Prosecutor Lumez.
