The American Embassy said the exercise demonstrates the US “partnership force with the Kosovo Security Force and NATO allies”.
For the first time, Kosovo is hosting a division-level headquarters, with 180 members from the 28th Infantry Division, part of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, which command four multinational brigades. DEFANDER 25 demonstrates the American Army's ability to deploy quickly and operate side by side with allies from the Arctic to the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea, showing US commitment to NATO and the power of partnership”, the embassy has written.
Similarly, the US Embassy said Kosovo's role in regional and global security is on the rise.
