His act comes as a moral act, following the tragic accident that took place on Saturday between the villages of Grazdashnik and Atmadge, where 17-year-old Gelitan Shala, high school senior “Remzi Ademaj”, lost his life.
At today's session of the Communist Assembly in Prizren, member of NISMA was deeply affected by this case.
He said he cannot continue to maintain his position, stressing that he had long called for the location of traffic signs in that area, but institutions had failed to act.
“When words are not enough, actions speak. Ideal responsibility was missing. For this moral reason, today I declare my resignation from the post of member of the Assembly”, he said.
