American authorities are investigating a plane crash about eight miles [8 km] off the coast of San Diego, where a small plane with six people on board crashed in the Pacific Ocean shortly after its departure.
The US Coast Guard reported finding remains near Point Loma and launched a search operation in water nearly 60m deep.
On Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that all six persons passed away.
This is the latest accident in a series of air incidents in southern California in recent months./Periscopi/
